I have heard about people obsessed with tattoos and piercing, but I had never met anyone like that before. Then I met Sara – a girlfriend of my collage roommate. Once I heard she was going to get her upper lip pierced with a sewing needle in our bathroom I took an opportunity to document this event with my photo camera.
